Most cloakers rely on a single signal — User-Agent matching. Shield Protection™ combines nine independent signals. Bypassing one is easy. Bypassing nine simultaneously means controlling a real residential browser on a real residential IP — at which point you're a real visitor.
User-Agent
Instant pattern match against the known scanner UA database (Netcraft, Googlebot, Meta crawler, curl, python-requests, etc.).
Datacenter IP ranges
Hardcoded CIDR blocks for AWS, GCP, Azure, OVH, Hetzner, DigitalOcean, Vultr, and the entire Netcraft & Meta crawler fleet.
Header anomalies
Missing Accept, Accept-Language, Sec-Fetch-Mode/Site/Dest headers. Inconsistent proxy chains. Browser fingerprint mismatches.
Rate limiting
Per-IP sliding window. Anything above 30 req/IP in 60s gets cloaked. Catches automated probes hitting your link in bursts.
Geo filter
Optionally restrict access to specific countries. Anything outside your whitelist gets the innocent page. Perfect for jurisdictional safety.
IP reputation
Live lookup against ip-api.com pro: detects hosting providers, commercial VPNs, anonymizers, known-bad ASNs.
Reverse DNS
Resolves the visitor's hostname. `*.amazonaws.com`, `*.googlebot.com`, `*.netcraft.com`, etc. = instant block.
Innocent page
When a scanner is detected, we serve a randomized fake-agency HTML page. Different copy, palette, and layout on every request — no static signature.
JS challenge
Client-side detection of headless Chrome: `navigator.webdriver`, plugin count, WebGL fingerprint, timezone consistency. Even Selenium farms get caught.
